A native Oregonian and Certified Dementia Practitioner with 14+ years in senior living leadership, Dr. Deraney brings deep expertise in both geriatric care and organizational development. He believes that exceptional communities are built on relationships first — and his commitment to residents, families, and staff defines the culture at Bluebird Commons.

Raised by her grandparents, Kailey's passion for older adults has shaped every step of her two-decade career. A holder of master's degree in applied gerontology and a recognized leader in the field, she guides families through one of life's biggest transitions with patience, expertise, and genuine care.
